This application was created by using React. The application uses the browser’s geo-location abilities to fetch relevant weather data from the user.

Weather information was fetched using open and available APIs from weather organizations. Using the geo coordinates from the browser, was able to surface relevant weather data for the area.

As an additional feature, the ability to switch from Celcius to Fahrenheit depending on the user’s preference. Default temperature is Celcius.

The application is hosted on a Debian Stable linode instance and is using Nginx as it’s webserver. The site can be accessed here: https://www.xavierjortiz.com/weather/
